Reduce, reuse, recycle for a cleaner and greener world. At MOZ-ART, Lin creates all her products with recycled and vintage materials, and with heaps of aroha (love). Handbags, dresses, skirts… all looking unique, hip, trendy and sometimes nostalgically retro. It’s all about finding something new in the existing.
Who
Lin Van Craenenbroeck is a Belgian born artist, who moved to Raglan, NZ in August 2006. Being a professional window-dresser for 15 years, she’s always been fascinated by bringing colors, shapes and different materials together.
Inspired by Spanish artist Gaudi and being like a creative volcano herself, ready to erupt, she decided to explore the wonders and possibilities of the art of mosaic.
Excited by the elements of nature, she combines recycled treasures, like old china, together with ceramic tiles, to create a colourful unique style. Grandfather being a dressmaker and having a creative mother, she discovered that mosaic-art is not only about ceramic pieces. So mosaic-style wearable art was born.
Come and visit Lin’s shop at 24B Stewart Street, where you’ll find a range of mosaic artworks, lifestyle products and mosaic-style wearable art – both for young and the young at heart. Open Daily : 11.00am – 4.00pm

Directions
When you drive into Raglan township from State Highway 23, the first main recognition point is the BP station on the right. Turn left into the road opposite the BP station and then take the first right into Stewart Street. About 300 meters further you’ll see the Moz-Art flags on the side of the road. You’ve found us!
Workshops
Treat yourself with a workshop learning the wonders of mosaic-art. The workshop covers 1 day. Lin will show you the tricks and techniques, how to use the right tools and materials. You are creating your own masterpiece, a mirror, a plant pot or something decorative. This workshop will be the ideal base for projects you want to do at home, like decorating your bathroom or kitchen. Give Lin a call or email to arrange a date.
