Raglan surfers riding high at the Billabong Pro

The Billabong Pro, held at Whangamata, wrapped up on Monday – and Raglan surfers have been enjoying some top results. Jessica Santorik took out the Open Women’s Division while brother Leon came second in the Open Men’s.
Jessica remains undefeated on the Export Gold series this summer after taking out the first event of the series. Raglan’s Alexis Poulter placed third.
Meanwhile at the World Junior Surfing Championships held at Piha last week local ripper Ben Poulter took sixth place in the Under-16s, missing a spot in the final by only 0.1 of a point.
