Raglan surfer heading to World Champs

Local ripper Luke Hughes is headed to Punta Hermosa, Lima, Peru in October for the 2010 Billabong International Surfing Association (ISA) World Surfing Games.
Luke was yesterday confirmed as part of the New Zealand team heading to the championships. He’ll be travelling with seven of the nation’s top surfers, including New Zealand’s highest world-ranked surfer Paige Hareb. The team will look to improve on their eleventh placing in 2009, when the event was held in Costa Rica.
