Waoku Lodge, Raglan’s only five-star accommodation option, has been included in the USA’s Travel & Leisure magazine list of Best Affordable Beach Resorts. There are forty establishments around the world included in this prestigious list, with Waoku Lodge the only inclusion from New Zealand.

Waoku Lodge offers discreet, luxury accommodation in self-contained apartments overlooking the Tasman Sea at Whale Bay, Raglan. The magazine article specifically mentions the food served at Waoku Lodge and recommends the smoked local salmon on crispy Rösti.
The recent opening, in November 2009, of Moana Day Spa at Waoku Lodge has further added to this unique venue and the Spa facilities are available to non-residents.
