The bach is clean and comfy, and perfect for surfers who want to wake up and take a one minute walk down to the waves at Whale Bay or Indicators. It’s ideal too, for small groups or families who want to be close to the beach. Explore the rock pools, swim or take a five minute walk up the hill to some wonderful walking tracks that lead you around Mt Karioi.

You’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay; a kitchenette with small oven/grill, refrigerator, toaster and kettle, as well as a TV and a heap of books and magazines.

During the day, you can breathe in the ocean air. At night, you’ll fall asleep to the waves crashing onto shore. It’s just heaven to be so close to the sea.

We provide free WI-FI for browsing the internet or checking email if you have a laptop with WI-FI (no excessive Skype use or downloading).

Whale Bay is located 8kms outside of Raglan. It’s one of Raglan’s world famous surf breaks and a popular spot for surfers and tourists alike. Raglan is a buzzing little holiday town with fantastic cafes, shops and nightlife.

We occasionally accept bookings of one night (charged at a slightly higher rate) depending on the schedule. Enquire for more details.

Special conditions
This bach is located onsite with main house so we appreciate guests who are relatively quiet after 10pm.
The toilet and shower are located in the shed right next to the bach and is exclusively for your use during your stay. Smoking allowed outside only.
Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 10am.
